During the healing process, the body will scab as the top layers of the epidermis rejuvenate with new skin. Our body’s response will signal our immune system to remove any foreign particles. Only the pigmentation at the epidermal junction will remain.

The new color, the desired color, can then be viewed under the skin. Therefore, the healed results are 30%-50% lighter and less intense. Our permanent make-up artists are educated and empowered in their understanding of this process.
